This is the letter I sent to Mr Banner:
I also graduated 2 years ago from the Davie location agree 100% with all of what PJ said and some..See, after you have graduated from CSB and 2 years of college, you would think you had enough training and not have a problem getting a job in Radio. Fact is:it is a fuckin bitch to get a job in radio and it was pitched as it was a sure thing. Then, I find that others who graduated AFTER me are getting jobs in radio and when I go for an interview, I find they were just hired and doing a show. Now that the school is closed, what kind of fuckin practice can I get since I am being shuttered away from the radio jobs I went to school for? I,like many of my other graduates, have put in a year or two or three in time learning, being ready for the moment, not cursing while in the booth, keeping logs, etc. and when you think you are working toward your goal, you are just working the pockets of a school who could give two shits what you do in your broadcasting career or life itself.THIS IS NOT IN DISRESPECT TO ANY TEACHER OR INSTRUCTOR. Joe, Angie(god bless her), Russ, Mychael and the other instructors with exception to Chris Hudspeth have all been cool and very helpful with advice on what to do to get a job so let that be clear. What gets to me is not only was I screwed, but the one who is a pilot got screwed, the one who is a electrician got screwed, the customer service rep got screwed:all those who went here to make a career out of themselves to not make shit money while dishing out 12 g's to go to school all got screwed. And, you and the "corporate" upper brass leading up to Dick have shit to say to those graduates..not even an honest answer or even an update on whats really going on?
Hey, since I cant get a job in radio, let me just push the envelope since it seems as though I wont be getting anywhere in my career soon or even an apology: What kind of school who makes more than 1.5 mill a year per school (15 students/class x $12,000 x 2 classes per semester x 4 semesters) can file for Ch. 11 bankrupcy and not even give any decent reason for closing or even can close down on its students? If you think I or any other graduate would continue making payments when I have lost my privelages, and in this economy, you are fuckin delirious. I have even told the company I was financed through not to expect seeing another piece of paper with funds from my name. Its bad enough when I went there, we were promised job placement and learn that went out the fuckin window after graduation. Its funny the school preaches the students stay part of the CSB family, but the parents cant keep tabs on whats going on with the business and let it sink faster than Enron or the stock market. Would you be pissed if the closest you got to being on the radio was completing an internship and doing studio time at the broadcasting school? If I wanted just an internship, I would have got one for free through BCC, not pay 12 grand for it. If all avenues were closed in your mind, would you blame me for all that I am writing here? I feel like I was suckered out of my money and I was not the only one who thought that and I am only talking about the 15 I graduated with. I can only count 3 out of 15 who have jobs in the business from my own class: Use can use that stat in the copy to the public next time you make another CSB commercial, IF we get to that point.
How about putting in the time for demos, sending out and going to stations with your resume every couple of months to keep filling out the same application every time and not get recognized, where was the chapter in class about that?
So, I am to live with A: losing a career, time, and money in school from here and from BCC B: losing my school for the second time since you HAD to move the school from Davie to Doral including the LIFETIME use of the studio and programs. I know I will be looked down upon once again for the action I am taking into this letter, but fuck it: you taught me to be true to my word and you or others act like I went to this school as a hobby when I went here to be a broadcaster. Lets explore the options of what CSB has left, shall we.. are we 1.going to reopen, 2. reopen some of the schools, 3. reopen under a different name since the CSB name went bankrupt, or what I am leaning toward 4. being told fuck you, school is closed and good luck find a job in radio with being a graduate from here.
There needs to be some action, something that can help people like me who dont have a job or a direction to go in move toward getting there. Things were just going smoothly in Doral and since this closed, I have nothing but a 50 hr a week job paying me shit and I am still going nowhere fast in my broadcasting career. Its has nothing to do with my attitude, mood, work ethic, or my drive, but the opportunity for advancement, what you said would be there, is not there. If people dont start getting answers, I can see and hear papers that will be filed in dade and broward counties by grads who will sue whats left of the school for breach of contract, among other things. I apologize for the language but not in the way it was used because maybe I or one of us can finally get some answers. So, David Banner or anyone else up to Dick, what is the State of CSB, and be real with us?

My dog Gerius..its been an hour, sir, hows life. Yup, the stage has closed for us again and dont know what to do but do what must be done to get where I want to go in this business. Thats some shit whoever it was dropped the ball on you on the laptop thing.Yeah, that hollywood floridian talk gets nothing nowhere but a bag of shit. If I get a trip to PB, it will go with people who want to go and maybe I will talk to Mr Banner himself to his face since he is not interested in answering to me by letter form. Shit, if I owed money, they would be up my ass for it and they would take whatever they wanted as extra. It doesnt matter on the lawsuit tip because they breached everyone of OUR contracts, so they cant avoid shit but the fact they are a fraud. Even if the school should open, I am not so sure I will represent CSB; they fucked us once, you think I will let them fuck someone else or me over down the line, under a different school name? Na,dawg..CSB corportate brass needs to open their fuckin eyes and ears and understand they are stealing from the students and renegging on their contracts with us. FUCK THE LEGAL LOOPHOLES OR WAYS OUT, we are witnesses like we watched Lebron lose again. Until then, Im around.Ray and Armando, I just might take you up on the offer if you all go out and whoever else wants to go out there. Its a crock of shit to go to PB, but I need to get back into the studio and get clockin..O, and dont worry, BOSTON WILL BE BACK FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP NEXT YEAR WITH KG!

Yooooo, The Heat Fan is in da building.....A.D what's crackin....Loonnngggg time since we been on here huh? We use to talk sports, but now we have to be on here for this foolishness...Well, ya boy is about to throw 10 cents in this one...Forget 2 cents....This is not a good look at all for CSB....Can u say STR8 B.S.???? Our Aunt Sallie Mae already knows that she isnt getting a dime no time soon...They even contacted me by mail letting me know the loan will be in deferment...I would appreciate a partial refund or something...This here is ridiculous. I have nothing but love for my instructors (July Night Class '08)..Shout out to Naughty Nat, Smokin Joe, Russ the Magnificent, Judy from da Block, Dave da Dude, and Slick Nick....Because it's not their fault this crap went down...But, I did have a prior incident with one of the workshop instructors..I attended a workshop and I really liked what he had to say so I told him that I was going immediately to go buy the equipment and a new laptop so I can start it up..I specifically ask this dude if he was accessible by email. He told me "Yeah.." Mannnnnn, I bought the program and the laptop 2-3 days after the workshop..Because, I meant business..Don't y'all know I sent this man over 6 emails trying to get some guidance..He replied to 1 and it was a one liner...Meaning he only answered the question in a couple of words..Then I immediately replied a couple more times after that and never heard from him again..See thats the stuff I can't deal with..People that know me, knows if I say something, it's good as a check with a signature...My instructors, homeboys, wife, can vouch for me on that...I guess he thought I was just talking at the workshop..I guess he thought it was Hollywood talk or something...So that put me back like $800...But it's all good..I don't even know how to look at opening up a few campuses..Is it so that they can avoid law suits? Or are they really looking out for the students? Things that make you go hmmmm....The way things are going, I suggest anyone planning on taking a trip to the Palm Beach campus call before they make that trip...Just to make sure they are open and their hours of operation....Just imagine if Joe didnt create the Ning, all of our comments wouldn't even be heard....CSB fam Be Easy and continue to try to get in where you fit in....I'm sure I won't be the last frustrated graduate to post....Check yall L8R

im all in to do whatever to get in and stay on the air, I will work with anyone but DJ Khalid..it may be a side job, but it can lead to something big at some point. It takes time and good ratings so the station will put money into you.

Damn Armando, tells us how you really feel !! Good to hear from you. I'm glad you are well....and employed. Radio is definitely something you would need to do on the side unless you blow up. Remember, there is a few grads that are big time now..few and far between but there none the less. Anyways, we can always take a road trip and spend a day helping each other out. my email is rayflow@hotmail.com. let me know. Peace....by the way, Denver and Orlando in the finals, Orlando in 7....mark my words....

Go to csb.com for the latest. Unfortunately, it seems that the Davie/Doral location will not re-open. The Palm Beach location will and we will have access to the facilities and job placement opportunities. This means for me that in order to successfully obtain work in this industry, I need to do WHATEVER it takes to rise above all others including longer drives to Palm Beach, interaction with the school staff and persistence in internship/employment. The possibilities are there, lets move forward and grab them. P.J, Aaron and those here in the Dade/Broward area, lets keep keep in touch and make road trips to PB and show them were serious and determined. Thanks.
